Sep 09, 2005: I haven't updated this list in several months so I figured
it was time to do so as a lot has happened! Back in January, I set my 7th
concurrent world record and was starting to wonder what I should try for next.
I had a couple ideas, but as it happens I revisited an old favorite, Frogger.
There were two bounties on Frogger, one for beating the old world record and
another for beating the fictional score from an episode of Seinfeld. In March,
I successfully took the Frogger world record but I'm still trying to beat the
fictional score. My other main goal was to be the next person to complete a
perfect Pac-Man game. After a couple months of serious practice and a couple
heart-breakingly close games, this goal was also achieved in July. That would
have been my 9th concurrent record except that for the first time someone else
has beaten one of my world records! David Cruz from Florida scored over 6.7
million on Tron, eclipsing my record from Funspot 2001. So here's the current

Since it is getting harder to find old classic arcade games out in "the
wild" to be able to pursue more world records, the next best thing is
to play on an emulator like
MAME. Currently, MAME
records are tracked separately from the actual arcade records, and there
are several good reasons for this.
Using the Twin Galaxies approved version of MAME, I currently hold several
additional World Records as verified by Twin Galaxies. These
